May 2021 – CAEP fully adopts NDLETPS

The Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation Programs is the only accreditor of Educator Prep Programs offered by Colleges of Education that are part of CAEP Institutions

After three years of close collaboration, CAEP was able to fully adopt the National Dual Language Education Teacher Preparation Standards. Now Colleges of Education choosing to be recognized by CAEP can choose to utilize the NDLETPS for strengthening and/or expanding their Dual Language Educator Preparation programs.
